Here is a step by step tutorial on how to draw a unicorn for beginners.
Although I try to simplify the process of drawing a unicorn, or the shape of a horse, equine figures are very complex to draw. However, with practice, drawing always gets better.
As I was creating this tutorial, many lines were drawn, erased, and started over. This is completely normal. Very rarely will the first line be perfect. Sketch out the shape you want and refine to what you want.

How to Draw a Unicorn: Step by Step Tutorial
Step 1: Draw the top of the unicorn’s head.
Step 2: Draw the top of the unicorn’s snout.
Step 3: Draw the snout and jawline of the unicorn.
Step 4: Draw the back of the unicorn’s neck.
Step 5: Draw the underside of the unicorn’s neck.
Step 6: Draw the curve of the horse’s back.
Step 7: Draw the top of the horse’s leg. This area is thicker and rounder than the rest of the leg.
Step 8: Draw the area above the knee of the unicorn. This is where the leg is going to become more skinny.
Step 9: Continue draw the leg from the knee down.
Step 10: Draw the back of the leg. I created an indent just before where we are going to draw the unicorn’s hoof.
Step 11: Draw the unicorn’s hoof.
Step 12: Next, we’re going to draw the top of the unicorn’s front leg.
Step 13: Draw the knee near the middle of the leg and continue down
Step 14: Draw the hoof on the unicorn’s front leg.
Step 15: Draw the other front leg similarly.
Step 16: Draw the unicorn’s belly. The area closer to the chest is wider than the area closer to the leg.
Step 17: Start drawing the other hind leg.
Step 18: Draw the back of the unicorn’s leg. The back legs are bent at a different angle compared to the front legs.
Step 19: Continue drawing the unicorn’s leg like so.
Step 20: Draw the hoof.
Step 21: Draw the unicorn’s ears.
Step 22: Draw the unicorn’s eyes.
Step 23: Draw the unicorn’s nostrils.
Step 24: Draw the unicorn’s horn.
Step 25: Draw the unicorn’s mane.
Step 26: Draw the unicorn’s tail.
Step 27: Make any final adjustments and add any extra details you like. And you are done!
