Hi everyone!
It’s November and it’s almost time for Thanksgiving as I write this blog post.
I thought it would be a great idea to share some gratitude quotes to get us all in the energy of giving thanks to everything and everyone around us.
I hope these quotes inspire you to be thankful for all the beautiful things and people in your life.
I have included quotes, sayings, and even affirmations so I hope you can find the right words that resonate with where you are in your life.
Disclaimer: None of these quotes belong to me. I have included the source for each quote in the image although some quotes and sayings do not have a known source.
Today, as I am about to publish this blog post, it is 11/11/23. Today, I woke up with the song Without You (by David Guetta ft. Usher) stuck in my head.
I thought I’d share this story because it might help someone.
I believe that the songs we have stuck in our heads when we wake up have deep meaning. I am one to believe that when we sleep, we are connected to God, everything, and everyone.
So the songs we wake up with are messages from someone out there. It can also be God or your own soul.
The past 1 to 2 days had been tough for me. I felt like nobody loved me or will ever love me (I’ve never been in a relationship before so I was just feeling very down about that). I felt alone and unneeded.
But then, I woke up with this song in my head and I came back to the feeling of being loved again. That I’m not truly alone.
Even if you do not have what you yearn for right now, it or that person exists somewhere out there.
The feeling of it missing is but an illusion – Because we are all connected to God, and thus we are connected to all that we love.
Now, let’s get onto the quotes! I hope you enjoy!
1. Thank you for being you
I believe one of the biggest things we forget to give thanks to is ourselves.
That is why I wanted the first words for this blog post to simply be “Thank you for being you.”
You don’t have to do anything or be anyone to receive thanks in my opinion. Being you is enough. So thank you 🙂
2. Gratitude turns what we have into enough
We often become trapped into wanting so many things. Wanting perfection. Wanting to be known. Wanting to be abundant.
And sometimes we trap ourselves into seeing everything we don’t have.
Whenever this happens, gratitude is one of the best ways bring us back to a happier state of being.
What we don’t have doesn’t matter.
This present moment that we are given… is enough.
3. When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed
When it comes to giving and receiving, both parties are always blessed.
There is no loss when giving and there is no shame to be felt in receiving.
4. A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles
Beautiful things happen when one has a heart of gratitude.
The world wants to see you happy… And it will do whatever it can to bring you those miracles to see you smile.
But you have to be open to seeing it… and it all starts with a grateful heart.
5. May you count your blessings only to find them countless
Every moment in your life piles on and on.
I think as you keep moving forward in life, you will notice how everything in your life was a blessing to bring you to this moment. And it will keep bringing you to even better and better places.
So as often as you can, give thanks for every gift life brings you.
6. Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet
Everything you experience, touch, and see… it was all made for you.
I made this blog post for you. Someone made the space you are living in for you. The earth below your feet was all made just for you.
Remember that 🙂
7. The more grateful I am, the more beauty I see
I believe that gratitude is more than just being grateful for someone or something that helps me.
Gratitude is seeing beauty in someone else and appreciating it. It isn’t an outer beauty though… it always stems from within.
Thus, when we are grateful… we are practicing “seeing” that beauty. With our inner eye.
And just as exercising a certain muscle makes it grow stronger, the more we are grateful… the more we see beautiful people and things in the world around us.
8. A thankful heart is a happy heart
This saying is going to be a theme all throughout this blog post.
It says a lot when many different people say one similar message: Happiness stems from gratitude.
9. The soul that gives thanks can find comfort in everything
Sometimes it can be difficult to give thanks when one is going through a tough time in their life.
And I think that’s okay!
But even when I’m sad, angry, or feeling desperately alone – I know in the back of my mind that despite it all, I’m going to be okay.
Everything I experience is all preparing me for something beautiful in the future. I don’t know what it’s going to be… but I know in the future I’ll probably be thanking myself for handling it as I did.
And I find comfort in that.
10. Thankful Grateful Blessed
11. Gratitude paints smiley faces on everything it touches
12. Thank you is the biggest poem I’ve got inside of me
13. Gratitude changes everything
Gratitude truly does change everything.
It paints the world in a beautiful feeling and when one sees the world through heart-felt eyes, of course everything would change!
14. I still remember the days I prayed for the things I have now
I wish I could have told these words to the younger me.
There will come a time when you’ll have practically everything you wanted!
In the moment you may feel as if you have nothing or how can you possibly reach your goals… but you will. So pray. Make a wish. You will definitely have it.
15. When one has a grateful heart, life is so beautiful
16. Count your blessings, not your troubles
It can be easy to focus on your troubles rather than your blessings.
But I find that even if you could focus a little bit of your time to being grateful… your life will change just with that.
17. Be grateful for whatever it is that opens you up
It can be easy to close yourself off to the world.
This happens because there is fear in one’s heart… And that’s okay!
If you feel afraid of the world, don’t berate yourself for it. Instead, thank yourself… because there is a part of you that is trying to protect you.
But also look for things or people in your life that open you up too.
And when that happens, be grateful for it. Why? Because they are here as an “angel-in-disguise” to show you that there is much love in this world too.
18. The secret to happiness is simple…
19. The deepest craving of human nature is the need to be appreciated
I had never thought of appreciation like this.
But it makes sense.
I think many of us crave to be appreciated by someone else (me included!) but perhaps we are searching for it from the wrong place.
I think rather your own heart is yearning for more appreciation from yourself.
So drown yourself in your own love. Appreciate the beautiful being that you are!
20. Thankfulness is the quickest path to joy
21. Grateful for where I’m at, excited about where I’m going
22. Expect nothing, appreciate everything
23. Every breath I take is in gratitude for this very moment
I love focusing on my breath during meditation sessions.
Who knew that simply breathing could feel so good? It is an easy way to feel gratitude for something as simple as breathing.
I recommend giving it a try! 🙂
24. A grateful mind is a great mind which eventually attracts to itself great things

I have to remind myself of this one.
Sometimes my days blur together that I forget each and every day is unique and beautiful in its own way.

29. Gratitude sweetens even the smallest moments
30. True forgiveness is when you can say…
Forgiveness is liberation.
It can be a long journey… But whenever I want to forgive myself or others, I remind myself that part of the journey is being grateful for it happening.
It’s okay if you can’t do it now.
But when the time comes that you want to move forward, know that gratitude is a part of it.
31. Gratitude builds a bridge to abundance
32. Sometimes the little things in life mean the most
How can the little things in life mean the most?
Because when one is at the lowest point in their life, sometimes it’s those “little things” that is all that we can see.
It can be the cool breeze that feels like absolute perfection to you.
The way the flowers on the bush are blooming.
Even the overcast clouds.
Or just a random thought.
I hope that if there is a time in your life where you lose sight of everything, look at the little things and find something to hold onto.
33. Let all you do be done in love
I think when we try to pour love into the things we do, that in itself is an act of gratitude.
34. There is nothing like being grateful
35. Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back…
I think the most ordinary of days are the ones we should be most grateful for.
The reason for this is because the ordinary days are the ones filled with the most peace… and what is as beautiful as peace?
And often the case is that the little things that fill our ordinary days are what moves us, little-by-little, to do the big extraordinary moves in our lives.
36. Appreciation is a wonderful thing…
This quote is something I am learning to do more of these days.
Whenever I see someone who I admire, whether it be for their talent, charisma, singing, attractiveness, etc… I say in my mind that I am grateful for them.
Why?
Because the beauty we see in others is both a reflection and expansion of our inner selves.
We are all one.
What you see in others, exists within you as well. So why not be grateful?
37. Every morning is a fresh start…
Every morning is a new start, so let’s do our best to begin each day feeling grateful 🙂

Whenever I expect something big to happen, it turns out ordinary.
Whenever I expect nothing, it turns into something extraordinary.
Does this happen to you too? 🤣
39. Gratitude is my attitude!
40. The struggle ends when gratitude begins
I like this quote even though I know this may not be the case for all struggles.
Some struggles turn around slowly.
However I think this quote is a great way to give your mind a break from your struggles. It can be draining and stressful to continuously focus on one’s struggles.
So give yourself a break.
Focus on something you can be grateful for… whether that be your favorite song, TV show, stress-relieving activity…
Move yourself into a state of gratitude so that the struggle ceases to exist for a few moments.
41. When you are grateful…
42. Everything that you are is enough
When we view ourselves as enough, we are practicing being grateful for ourselves.
All of us are born enough.
The world may have told you otherwise, but please remind yourself of this every now and then.
“Everything that you are is enough.”
Even the you with all your “weaknesses” and “imperfections”.
Everything!
