Hi everyone!
I’m back with another blog post!
I’d like to apologize to everyone who’s been looking forward to more art content – It is coming as I am working on it, but progress takes time when it comes to the art blog posts.
My dad recently had a stroke so a lot has happened over the past 1-2 months or so, but I am getting back in the groove with art and I hope to bring to you all a new art blog post in the future!
This blog post however is pertaining to a message I received while meditating last month.
I was trying to do some inner child work – But stumbled across a different sort of message.
I thought it would be helpful to a lot of people if I shared it… so here it is.
The 100 Thank You Method: Part 1
This gratitude exercise consists of 2 parts.
It is okay if you just do the first part – as the second part of the exercise can take quite a bit of presence. However, I do recommend it as it will help you magnify your gratitude.
The first part of the exercise is to say thank you 100 times per day.
You do not have to say them all out loud. You can say most of them in your head.
They (my higher self) did recommend saying a quarter of them verbally to another person if you can. If you can’t, it’s all good.
It may seem like a daunting task at first – but when I tried it, it was easier than I expected.
You do not have to keep track of exactly how many times you said thank you.
Just a ballpark estimate in your head is enough.
If you end up saying 80, 60, or 50… that is good too.
The purpose of this exercise (in my opinion) is so that throughout the day, you remind yourself to feel grateful for the abundance of things, people, and experiences in your life at that present moment.
So I wouldn’t necessarily do only 10-20. Because it is easier to rush through the list and not truly get the essence of gratitude and abundance during your day. And throughout the day.
You may be wondering what is the purpose of this exercise? What will it bring to me?
The reason my Higher Self gave me this exercise to do was to open my heart to receiving love. Or receiving in general.
Although in my mind, I can see how this exercise can help in so many ways other than receiving.
It can help you tap into the energy of gratitude. Abundance. Luck. Oneness.
I guess it all just comes back to love in the end.
I recommend it for people who are stuck in a negative thinking pattern and want an actionable way to get out. To see the world in a more positive light.
This exercise will definitely do that.
For those you are feeling depressed, sad, anxious, angry, or any other negative emotion – For those who find it difficult to tap into the feeling of gratitude, say the words “thank you” in your head. It is okay if you don’t feel gratitude.
Instead feel neutral. That is a good place to start.
You will still experience transformation in your life (at least this was the case for me).
I hope this helps.
I also created a Youtube video on this method, so check it out if you’d like!
The 100 Thank You Method: Part 2
This part of the exercise was a bit more difficult to interpret when I received the message through my meditation. It was quite abstract – but here is my interpretation of the message.
Part 2 of this exercise takes a bit more presence and focus in my opinion.
However, it is part of the exercise.
It is okay if you do not do this part of the exercise – Just know that it is part of it.
You will still get immense results from doing the first part of this exercise.
The second part of this exercise is to know that you are one with everything and everyone. You are not separate. We are all one.
The reason this is important is because when we are all one, there is no concept of give and take.
No loss or gain.
There is no exchange as in the human perception.
It is more of an amplification. There is only more and more, and there is no end.
Essentially, everything you feel grateful for is from you. And it is you.
What Results Have I Noticed From Doing This?
I have been doing this even through some tough times in my life (even though I’ve only known this method for less than a month).
I can say that doing this method made me realize how blessed I was, even through the tough times. Where I felt alone and helpless. In the end, I stayed present and level-headed for the most part – And I was helped immensely.
Of course, I cannot know for sure what resulted directly from doing the exercise, as it’s just me doing this little experiment.
I don’t have a control group to compare my experiences with.
But I can definitely say I see life in a much more positive light, even down to the smallest things that I never really cared or noticed before.
Like when I’m driving and the coast is clear for me to turn onto the main road, I get a rush of feeling lucky. I never really cared or noticed that before.
Even when I am just sitting on the couch, I sometimes get a rush of love and gratitude in that moment – even if everything is completely normal and nothing is happening – It feels like the moment is perfect.
Things like that.
It is definitely a nice feeling to bask in.

This is really great!
I admire your ability to describe it just as it is (no control group, your own experiences) and yet so inspiring (what to expect, how to start, how to not get lost in counting).
Also, this was just the reminder I needed for shifting my perspective and find joy through gratitude of all the little lovely things in life.
